Because motherhood is a journey and raising kids is a trip — so might as well make it a good one.

Welcome to Momma, You Trippin’ — your go-to space for family adventures, mom getaways, and the courage to chase joy with (or without) the littles in tow.

    Hi, I’m Jackie! 👋

I’m a momma, adventurer, snack-packer extraordinaire, and the heart behind Momma, You Trippin’ — a space created for moms (as well as dads and all parents!) who love to explore the world with their little ones in tow… and maybe also sneak away for a solo latte and a long weekend every now and then. 😉

Mom to two littles under 5, I'm also a wife and full-time working mom, so our adventures are squeezed in between working, allotted vacation time, and weekend commitments. Life is a balancing act and doin' the best to make time for both the responsibilities as well as the wanderlust.

I started this blog because I believe motherhood doesn’t mean the end of adventure — it just means the adventure looks a little different (and maybe includes a few more crackers). Whether it’s a road trip with a toddler, a flight with a baby on your lap, or your first kid-free getaway in ages, I want you to feel confident, empowered, and excited about it.

✈️ Why I Started Momma, You Trippin’

After becoming a mom, I had that all-too-familiar feeling that travel — one of my greatest joys — had to take a back seat. But slowly, I found ways to make it work. I took that first nerve-wracking trip with my baby, learned from every meltdown, every “forgot-the-bottle-warmer” moment, and came out the other side with stories, laughs, and a growing sense of confidence.

And when I finally took that first kid-free trip? Whew. Life-changing. Recharging. And honestly, overdue and necessary. I truly believe I am a better mom when I come back after a break, even if only for a day.

That’s how Momma, You Trippin’ was born: a place to share everything I’ve learned and continue to discover — so you don’t have to figure it out the hard way.

    What You’ll Find Here

    Chill Days & Adventure Waves

Not all trips are created equal — and that’s the beauty of it.

Some of us crave a beach chair, a fruity drink, and absolutely nothing on the schedule. Others want to squeeze in every hike, museum, food spot, and hidden gem before lunch. And guess what? Both are amazing. I believe there’s no one right way to travel — especially as a parent.

Here at Momma, You Trippin’, I mix a little bit of both.

Because when you’ve got littles in tow, flexibility isn’t just helpful — it’s everything. Some days are full of exploring and squeezing in all the sights, and others are slower, filled with naps or a quiet afternoon by the pool. I’ve learned that the best trips aren’t the ones that go perfectly, but the ones where you give yourself (and your family) space to just be and adjust as needed.

So whether you’re team “Relax + Recharge” or “Adventure All Day,” this space is for you. And if you're like me and you want a little of both, you're definitely in the right place.
